Rubbing Art!
Take a piece of paper and some crayons without the wrapping. Place an item under the paper and using the side of the crayon rub over the item and see the texture come out!
This activity can be done inside or out. You can take the paper with you outside or collect items on a nature walk and bring them home to use.

Food Animals!
Ever told your child "Don't play with your food?" Well, here is a fun activity that not only plays with your food but might get those picky eaters to try their veggies!
Cauliflower and raisins make awesome sheep.
What you need: different fruits and veggies, peanut butter as glue and tooth picks
Animal Masks!
This can be done on paper plates. We used clothes-pins to hold the masks up to our faces, but string or Popsicle sticks can also be used.
Your child can either draw the animal or you can cut out the shape and they can color it. I recommend having them at least try to draw the animal first and then you can help them cut out the eyes and mouth.
